LANDFILL LINER(HDPE SMOOTH GEOMEMBRANE)

Modern landfills are specifically designed to protect human health and the environment by controlling water and air emissions. All MSWLF must comply with regulations include: Composite Liners Requirements - Overlaid by a flexible and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane (a membrane) compacted clay soil lining the bottom and sides of the landfill, protect groundwater and the underlying soil from leachate releases.. A landfill liner, or composite liner, is intended to be a low permeable barrier, which is laid down under engineered landfill sites. Until it deteriorates, the liner retards migration of leachate, and its toxic constituents, into underlying aquifers or nearby rivers, causing spoliation of the local water.
