The geotextile fabric allows water to pass into the drain core while restricting the movement of soil particles that might clog the core. Metal pins, construction adhesives or double sided tape are applied to attach sheet drain to waterproofing material, concrete or wood. Sheet drain is widely used for large surface drainage.
