Several Construction Schemes Of Embankment Reinforced With Geotextile
Reinforced geotextile has a significant effect on improving the resilience modulus of the soil structure, and as the degree of compaction increases or the spacing between reinforcement layers decreases, the improvement range will decrease. The geotextile reinforced structure will become softer and have higher compressive strength. At the same time, the ultimate strain of the clay plate is very large, and the strain bearing capacity will increase. So, how many construction schemes are there for embankment reinforced with geotextile? Next, I will give a specific introduction.
Construction plan:
1. Lay two layers of geotextile separately
The first layer is placed on the ground, the second layer is placed on a sand mat, and the ends of the two layers cover 2m. When filling the soil, please pay attention to the filling at both ends, then roll up both ends of the geotextile, continue filling, and then fill to the middle. This is a traditional construction method, the construction process is simple, the contact surface between the geotextile and the soil is large, and the friction is large. When the designed geotextile layer is one layer, this method can be used for construction.

2. Two layers of geotextile combined into one layer
After laying the first layer of geotextile on the ground, it will not be cut, that is, sand mats with a width of 2m are pressed out at both ends. After rolling, the geotextile will roll back to the starting point, overlap the two ends by 2m, and then sew with thread. Subsequently, the sand pad in the middle will be filled and rolled. This scheme is similar to the previous scheme and has all the advantages of the former. At the same time, due to the double-layer integration of the scheme, the stress in the middle of the geotextile is uniform, thereby increasing the stretching effect. Geotextiles are woven with filaments, but the construction process of this method is very complicated.
