What Determines The Water Permeability Of Geotextile
The water permeability of geotextile is one of the hydraulic characteristics of geotextile, and its function is reflected in the filterability and drainage of geotextile. This also means that when geotextiles need to play the role of filtration and drainage, the water permeability of geotextiles is an indicator to measure them. Therefore, here is a brief introduction, which determines the permeability of geotextiles.

1. Materials. Different materials have different affinity to water. Geotextiles made of polyester have good water permeability and are exported to various countries.
2. The length of the needle path. For geotextiles, the longer the needle path length, the larger the gap and the better the water permeability.
3. The penetration angle during acupuncture. The larger the penetration angle, the better the waterproof performance of the geotextile. On the contrary, its water permeability is not very good.
4. Thickness. The thicker the geotextile, the slower the water penetration and the worse the water permeability.
5. Density, the denser the geotextile, the smaller the holes between the geotextile fibers, the lower the water conductivity, and the worse the water permeability.
